Dept. of Pharmaceutical Chemistry

The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry is equipped with state of the art facilities to undertake academics in Bachelor of Pharmacy course. Presently, the department has initiated research on the area of Medicinal Chemistry; focus will be laid on synthesis, purification, characterization of Chemical entity.
         The Department has experienced and highly qualified faculty members having national and international publications. To strengthen our academic and research potential, we willing to introduce Master of Pharmacy course in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and promoting Computer aided drug design, Docking, QSAR and Molecular modeling based projects in identification and validation of novel target sites for designing and synthesizing  new chemical entities having antidiabetic, antibacterial, antifungal and relevant activities. Undergraduates Scholars, interested in Research, are involved in UV and HPLC based analytical method development and its validation.
         The Department is planning to apply for funding from various government organizations such as AICTE, UGC and CSIR for getting research projects.
