Dept. of Pharmacognosy

The department of Pharmacognosy is one of the important branches of the institute. It is equipped with all the facilities to undertake academics in Bachelor of Pharmacy course. The department has initiated research on extraction, isolation and purification of phyto-constituents. Department is equipped with all the required instruments, Chemicals, reagents and medicinal plants for formulation of herbal and poly herbal formulation.

      The Department has experienced and highly qualified faculty members who are involved in Pharmacognostic and Phytochemical screening and standardization of herbal formulation and having national and international publications.

             The Department is in process for getting funds from various governmental and non-government organizations.
